Sudapet co. Ltd is a company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of the Sudan and having its business office at No. 25/1 , block 9/10, Africa street, Khartoum-Sudan.

Sudapet was set up in the year 1997 with an aim of becoming a spearhead national company and a strong technical and commercial arm to the government. It is to take charge of developing the oil industry, avail and train capable technical cadre with the objective of transferring the technical know-how of this business to Sudan.

To achieve these objectives the company has made it a point to set up a number of subsidiaries:

A) The blue Nile Processing company (BPC) for processing Seismic data, is a joint venture with BGP from China.

B) The Blue Nile Geophysical Company (BGC) for Seismic data acquisition and is a joint venture with BGP.

C) The company has set up also in collaboration with (JASON) The Khartoum Technology Center for Special studies and Reservoir Characterization Studies.

D) A special division was set up for Exploration and field Development Studies (EDSD) equipped with a complete network of workstations and PCs together with high tech latest software.

E) Financial and Administration Department:

This is the department that is responsible for all the financial and administrative issues.

Main activities

1. Maintain good working conditions/environment.
2. Rationalization of support services.
3. Recording SUDAPET transactions.
4. Providing Budgets for the transactions and projects which are intended to be implemented whether inside or outside the SUDAPET in cooperation with other partners, those include training programmes and conferences and even the social activities.
5. Assisting management with the financial aspect of decisions.

F) Projects and Engineering Department

This department is responsible for providing technical decisions for the whole organization in any technical issue.

Main activities

1. Providing Project Management Consultancy for all the Sudanese Oil Operating Companies.
2. Operation and maintenance for several kinds of plants.
3. Technical support for internal projects.
4. Approval and recommendations for the requests for the new projects and tenders.
5. Sudapet Petroleum Technical Center.

It consists of :

1- I-Center 3D visualization Screen (Well Drilling Planning)
2- Full multimedia equipped class rooms.
3- Welding workshop.
4- Radiographic lab.
5- Conference room.
